Abstract
Two years will have passed since Carl left us in March 1996. For someone like me, he will never leave. A number of “in memoriam” articles, written by people who knew Carl very well, highlighted Carl's achievements as a professional, a mentor, an industry spokesman, a visionary, and as a major contributor to advancements in geophysical technology.
