Abstract

Two groups of children rinsed their mouths at school once a week with a 0.2% solution of neutral sodium fluoride or once a day with a 0.05% neutral sodium fluoride solution. After 30 months, results showed that both mouthrinse procedures effectively reduced the incidence of dental caries.
