Abstract
When Pinhas Friedenberg started college, he wanted to go into the foreign service. But a summer job in a New York City office with no air conditioning led him to a different career. Reflecting back after his retirement more than 50 years later, Friedenberg feels fortunate to have had “a wonderful career helping students and helping the faculty.”
