Abstract

Vocational education had a vital role in moulding skilled, creative, and professional students. Apart from the knowledge that was taught in school, students were also taught outside of school, such as in the industry. The problem that occurred was the output of vocational education that had yet to meet the future labour market demand. Thus, there needed a system integration in vocational education to increase the relationship between the government, education and training institutions, and the industry. A solution that could be performed by the vocational education was by industrial working practice. This paper presented a career development and self-efficacy through industrial working practice in vocational education. This research aimed to explore the industrial working practice model. Through this paper, the institution could utilise it to increase the career development and self-efficacy from the vocational education students.
