Abstract
The Nursing Care Process (NCP) is a systematic methodology to guide nursing professionals in the planning and execution of care, especially relevant in the management of HIV due to the complexity of the disease. HIV weakens the immune system, predisposing to infections and complications. Nursing care of HIV patients requires a thorough understanding of the pathophysiology of the virus and its psychological and social implications. The ECP includes a thorough initial assessment to identify specific needs, diagnosis of health problems, planning of realistic goals, implementation of personalized interventions, and ongoing evaluation of their effectiveness. This ensures comprehensive and tailored care, improving the quality of life and adherence to treatment of HIV patients.
