Abstract

In this article, I explore some implications of Kelly's philosophical position of the universe being integral or interconnected. Based on this analysis, I further develop experiential personal construct concepts of transpersonal reverence and transpersonal responsibility. I then describe problems in these areas with respect to our relations with our significant others (interpersonal), our culture, humanity at large, and the more-than-human world. I conclude with a discussion of the ways Kelly's position challenges us to have faith in things unseen as well as the humility to recognize that our particular faiths will not be final ones.
