Abstract

Echinococcosis is one of the most common parasitic diseases. Most often, echinococcosis affects the liver and lungs. Difficult diagnosis of hydatid disease is determined by scanty symptoms. Additional difficulties arise in echinococcosis of rare localizations. Cardiac echinococcosis occurs in less than 2% of cases.
