Abstract

Purpose: The carcinoid valve disease process affects the tricuspid and pulmonary valves, with the development of right-sided heart failure. The definitive management of this is surgical replacement of the affected valves. The size and shape of the BioIntegral porcine pericardial valve conduit is an ideal conduit for use in the pulmonary position.
