Abstract

calix[6]areneruthenium(II) complex could be an attractive candidate to beutilized as an electrochemical receptor for anions. Here wereported the synthesis of a novel calix[6]areneruthenium(II)bipyridyl anion receptor and its electrochemical and bindingproperties in the presence of anions are investigated.
