Abstract

1. Carborane-containing 3,6-di-tert-butyl-o-semiquinolate complexes of tin, depending on the nature of the substituents, are either oxygen-centered radical complexes or chelatestructure complexes. 2. For the radicals with a hexacoordinated tin atom in polar solvents (THF, acetone), permutational shifts of the chlorine atom have been studied. 3. By the action of metal halides (CsCl, LiF) on oxygen-centered phenoxyl carborane-containing radical complexes of tin, anion-radical complexes are formed.
