Abstract
Rock samples from an Eocene cliff above the thermal spring of Hamam-el-Farun (west coast of Sinai) show various degrees of dolomitization and calcitization 18 O 16 O and 13 C 12 C ratios indicate that dolomite and secondary calcite precipitated from hot brines.
