Abstract

Polybutadiene was characterized by high resolution nuclear magnetic resonance in the solid state. The relaxation times in the laboratory and rotating frame were measured using an inversion-recovery pulse sequence and variable contact time experiment, respectively. The dipolar-dephasing technique and MAS spectrum were also recorded and the results showed new characteristics of this rubber.
