Abstract
A big plus for addition reactions: A catalytic amount of an azazirconacyclobutene is used in a novel carboamination reaction that involves net addition of an aldimine across a symmetrical alkyne to generate highly substituted α,β-unsaturated ketimine products (see scheme; Cp=C5H5).
