Abstract
AbstractAn A‐π‐D‐π‐A type carbazole‐derived organic ligand was designed and synthesized, and an intriguing one‐dimensional metal‐organic tube possessing infinite tubular superstructure was successfully constructed and characterized. Inspiringly, it displayed fascinating stimuli‐responses including room‐temperature gasochromic luminescent response for volatile organic compounds and effective fluorescent quenching for nitroaromatic explosives. In particular, the capabilities of selectively detecting 2,4,6‐trinitrophenol showed great potential as a promising fluorescent sensor.
