ZagerLaura Zager (lzager@mit.edu) graduated from Swarthmore College with degrees in engineering and math, and is currently a Ph.D. student in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at MIT. Although her father says that there's no such thing as free time for a junior engineer, she enjoys exploring Cambridge and glassblowing.George C. VergheseGeorge Verghese (verghese@mit.edu) earned his B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, his M.S. from SUNY Stony Brook, and his Ph.D. from Stanford, all in electrical engineering. He has been on the faculty of the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at MIT since 1979. So far, so good.
