Abstract

Inductively powered telemetric systems are beginning to gain interest in all fields where remote sensing is needed. In such systems power consumption, miniaturization and packaging pose the greatest design problems [1]. In this paper we present a capacitance to frequency converter suitable for working with an already presented telemetric system [2]. The system uses passive telemetry to transfer power to the transponder and pressure data to a remote base unit. Such telemetric systems are becoming ever more important in the biomedical field as the interest for in vivo measurements of different biological parameters both of humans and animals is increasing.
