Abstract

The personal statute includes diverse categories, so that it has a different extension in the States of the civil law, in those with multi-legislative regulations of religious or personal base, and in those of the common law. The States of the civil law include in the personal statute the general capacity, the protection institutes of the unable one, the name and some relations of family, the adoption, the successions and the donations. The multi-legislative States of denominational, base, and especially the Islamic States and those of the Black Africa include in the personal statute all the institutes that constitute the personal statute in the States of the civi law and, in addition, the special capacities, and the capacity relative to the international trade. Finally, the States of the common law just include in the personal statute the juridical capacity and the name of the person.
