Tobacco use is a leading cause of heart disease. Female smokers who also use cannabis may have a harder time quitting tobacco. The present evaluation sought to: 1) characterize cannabis use among female cigarette smokers who participated in the Ottawa Model for Smoking Cessation (OMSC) intervention; and, 2) compare 6-month tobacco quit rates between patients who reported co-using cannabis and those who did not.
