Abstract

Background: Use of cannabis and its derivative products (cannabinoids) has increased nationally as legalization for medical or recreational purposes has spread across the United States. The cannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD) has been found to increase liver transaminases. We therefore sought to better understand the impacts of cannabinoid use on outcomes after liver surgery.
