Abstract

In a study of forty cases of maxillary canine transposition, it was found that unilateral transposition of maxillary canines with premolars on the left side occurred more frequently, transposition was not necessarily complete, and in the absence of pressure from the permanent tooth germ the deciduous tooth was overretained in the oral cavity.
