Abstract

Four dogs were presented for sterile nodular panniculitis , confirmed by cytological and histopathological exams of skin biopsies. The panniculitis was associated in two dogs with a pancreatitis and in two other dogs with a tumoral process (one pancreatic adenocarcinoma and one gastrointestinal stromal tumour). Sterile nodular panniculitis secondary to a digestive disease is rarely reported in dogs and, to our knowledge, has never been described with an intestinal tumour.
