Abstract

Cancer is a malignant neoplasm based on the uncontrolled proliferation of cells that are capable of invasion into surrounding tissues and subsequent metastasis. These cells are characterized by a low degree of differentiation – the lower it is, the more malignant the process is. Cancer has become a pandemic worldwide, yielding only to the diseases of cardiovascular system in terms of mortality. Etiology of this pathological process remains unclear. Development of medications and effective methods for the treatment of malignant neoplasms is extremely important today and it is still an unsolved scientific problem.
