Abstract

The proposed review reveals the pathogenesis of the malignant tumor process and the patterns of its initiation and development. It was established that the basis of the malignant tumor process is the physiological process of implantation of the embryo in the thickness of the decidual membrane of the uterus and the regulation of the invasive function of the trophoblast, created by evolution. The determining role of the immune system in regulating these processes was revealed. The possibility of overcoming the malignant tumor process by blocking the key links of the body's immune response to the 37 kDa embryonic antigen has been revealed. The ways and methods of achieving this goal are indicated.
