Abstract
Health policy histories, like Under the Radar[: Cancer and the Cold War by Ellen Leopold], are especially timely during the current debate about how to reform the U.S. health care system. They provide significant insights into the myriad cultural, social, political, and economic forces that have shaped the U.S. health care system.
