Abstract

We propose to suppress the Gordon–Haus jitter completely by inserting a sample with a resonant medium in each stage of a soliton transmission line. The jitter is suppressed when a proper choice of the medium parameters is made, so that the entire transmission line will possess zero path-averaged dispersion and zero path-averaged nonlinearity.
