Abstract

Two databases, the Canadian Indoor Air Quality (CIAQ) database and the Canadian Indoor Source Profile (CISP) database, have been developed. The CIAQ database contains indoor airborne concentration data and related mon itoring and house characteristics information, as well as chemical species, bib liographic and study programme information. The database will provide ready access to Canadian IAQ data. The CISP database includes source profile information which can be stored in up to three user-specified units and emis sion rate information for sources that can affect indoor air pollutant concen trations. The CISP database will be an invaluable information source for use in indoor source apportionment and indoor dispersion modelling. Both data base systems were developed using dBase IV and currently include a limited number of reports.
