This predominance may vary from 9:1 in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), Sjogren’s syndrome and primary biliary cirrhosis, to 3:1 in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and multiple sclerosis (MS), down to 1:1 in inflammatory bowl disease and Type 1 diabetes mellitus
