Abstract
Harold L. Dorwart has taught at Williams College, Washington and Jefferson College, and Trinity College (where he was Seabury professor of mathematics and department chairman (,&UP It 1949-67, dean of the college 1967-68, and is now professor emeritus). He has contributed numerous articles to professional journals and is the author of "The Geometry of Incidence" (1966), and "Configurations" (1967). He received his Ph.D. degree in mathematics from Yale University in 1931, has been a member of the Board of Governors of the Mathematical Association of America, secretary of the Allegheny Mountain Section, and chairman of the Northeastern Section.
