Abstract

The kink-pair theory of the flow stress is tentatively applied on the temperature and strain-rate dependence of the critical resolved shear of SrTiO 3 single crystals with 〈0 0 1〉 orientation of the compression axis in the high-temperature regime. The results suggest that both a glide process as well as climb process can be used for an interpretation.
