Abstract

Purpose: Corneal collagen cross-linking is a recently developed procedure to treat keratoconus. Research has been conducted to study the effects of treatment; in-vitro studies have been mainly done using animal models. We explored the feasibility of using eye-banked human corneas to examine the effects of collagen cross-linking on corneal cells in-vitro.
