Abstract

Introduction: Prognosis of metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is very poor, but isolated pulmonary metastasis is known to have especially good prognosis through a few studies. However, in current treatment guidelines, chemotherapy or supportive treatment is recommended in metastatic PDAC patients regardless of metastatic sites or pattern. This study was performed to investigate the effect of metastasectomy on survival outcomes in PDAC patients with isolated lung metastasis.
