Abstract

The reuse of treated wastewater has been increasingly recommended. As accessible water supplies remain scarcer, treated wastewater becomes more significant for irrigation in agriculture. The quality of water is a leading determinant of the environmental system. For various uses, especially irrigated agriculture, high accuracy information on water quality is crucial. Autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) data on water quality in the field might assist in reducing geographic information shortages by covering a big space in a short period, High-Resolution Remote Sensing Data, spatially distributed necessary data for water management. Additionally, (UAV) devices have a set of constraints and obstacles. Autonomous vehicles must be provided with extra navigating equipment or acoustic localization systems. This chapter provides a multispectral water quality surveillance approach that relies on UAV technologies that can efficiently examine water and perform multi-temporal surveys regarding important water quality indicators that can also be applied to wastewater treatment and reuse in agriculture. The results can lead to a powerful compromise base for the treatment of agricultural water reuse.
