Abstract
Background: There is a general agreement that complete visualization of proximal bile duct including right or left hepatic duct (HD) is not possible with EUS. Percutaneous cholangiography or endoscopic retrograde cholangiography (ERC) are the standard imaging modalities for evaluation of proximal biliary disorders (PBD), although these procedures are relatively invasive and limited to obtaining cholangiogram without the visualization of mass lesions. We described 4 cases of PBD which were accurately diagnosed with curvilinear EUS (c-EUS) and influenced the further management of these patients.
