Abstract
Religious thought sometimes appears paradoxical and non‐rational. Religious educators know about the difficulty in teaching Christian doctrines like the two natures of Jesus Christ or the three divine personae who are but one God. This study will show that understanding these doctrines requires an ability to manage cognitive complexity which goes beyond the frame of traditional logic.
