Abstract

The computation of the contrast of fourth order interferences done to study the EPR paradox gives different results in quantum and semi-classical theories. A larger contrast is obtained by the quantum theory using elementary computations but it is the contrary by using the more refined semi-classical treatments. In some of the four examples given, simple complementary hypothesis may be required.
