Abstract

We examine the validity of a new instrument for rating competence in supervision. The tool appears to have content validity and shows early promise in discriminating between cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic and systemic supervision, as each had distinctive and theoretically-congruent profiles.
