Abstract

I have occasion to speak to student groups fairly frequently in my role as Regional Recruiting Manager for General Electric. To get job-hunting students on the right track, I tell them that, instead of asking “What is the company interviewer looking for in me?” they might better approach the interview cycle with this question: “How can I select the job opportunity that's right and the company that's best for me?”
