Abstract

It was when the rectal sphincters began singing their musical duet that I decided this movie was probably not for everyone. Still, as far as musical comedies about fatal infectious diseases go, Zero Patience is very likely a masterpiece of the genre. It certainly has all the necessary elements: singing viruses, epidemiology lectures, leatherclad museum guards with whips, a talking green monkey from Africa, and naked men crooning barbershop harmonies about priapic displays in the shower.
