Abstract
On the 16th of September, 1964, the Cambodian press unearthed U.S. plot to assassinate Prince Sihanouk, disrupt the country from within, and attack at the same time from without by forces from South Vietnam and Thailand. The news is not surprising, for something like the same gambit was played by the CIA in 1958, at a time when the Prince was being received by President Eisenhower in the White House. What is surprising is that the boys in the CIA's $46-million hideaway in Langley, Virginia, show such little originality in their fumbling.
