Abstract

Specific-heat and susceptibility measurements are presented on the magnetically diluted system Co p Zn 1− p Cs 3Cl 5. The results are in good agreement with theoretical predictions on the random-spin model for Ising interactions in three dimensions. High-resolution specific-heat measurements show that the singularity remains relatively sharp down to low concentrations of the magnetic ions.
