Abstract
California health officials have released a request for proposals (RFP) outlining what will be expected of commercial health plans in the transformation of Medi‐Cal managed care to a more person‐centered system emphasizing prevention and social determinants of health. The RFP is designed to help in executing the broad goals of the ambitious California Advancing and Innovating Medi‐Cal (CalAIM) initiative, which for substance use services authorizes new efforts in areas such as peer support and contingency management.
