Abstract

The long-term stability for the calibration of the ZEUS calorimeter is considered, with emphasis on the light injection system. Test results of the prototypes at the test beam at CERN and of a stand-alone light injection system at our laboratory are presented. An accuracy of a few percent per year is achieved for the injection of monitored light quantities from a laser. Different light monitors track by 0.3% per year.
