Abstract
A detailed study has been made on the operation of a thermoanemometer at low pressures and fairly high speeds in order to calibrate the sensor for local fluctuations in the velocity of a turbulent gas flow under glow-discharge conditions. Aspects are considered of the measurement error for spectral and integral characteristics of a turbulent gas flow.
