Abstract

Applications of x-ray microscopy in biology and medicine require information on radiation damage of specimens. This paper deals with a comparison between amplitude and phase contrast x-ray microscopy concerning radiation damage of biological specimens and imaging properties [1]. The calculations extend the work of D.Sayre et al. [2] to the case of phase contrast microscopy.
