Abstract

Summary form only given. Positron annihilation techniques (PAT) have been successfully applied in Fermiology and defect spectroscopy. Precise understanding of positron states is essential to interpret experimental results in the both fields, especially on complex materials as the current ones. BEDT-TTF based organic superconductors have two-dimensional alternating structures of anion and conducting BEDT-TTF layers. For Fermiology by PAT, higher positron annihilation rate with electrons on conducting BEDT-TTF layers is faborable. In this work, we have calculated positron distributions on a series of BEDT-TTF based organic superconductors, whose anion species are I/sub 3/, Cu(NCS)/sub 2/, Cu(CN)[N(CN)/sub 2/], Cu[N(CN)/sub 2/]Br and KHg(SCN)/sub 4/. The results will be discussed in connection with Fermiology by PAT.
