Abstract
The asymmetry for parity violating polarized electron scattering for the 12C to 12C* (15.11 MeV) nuclear transition is calculated using available models for the nuclear form factors involved. The sensitivity of this reaction to the Weinberg angle and to the ratio of the relevant nuclear form factors is discussed in detail.
