Abstract

To improve the detection performance of sky-screen under-low illumination conditions, an infrared detection technology is proposed to design its detection optical system, and the heat infrared radiation energy of a projectile in a detection screen is analyzed and calculated. According to the work principle of sky-screen, the projectile surface heat balance equation is set up by dividing its surface area into many small units when it is passing detection screen; the function relations on heat radiation, velocity, and projectile's length are analyzed, and the calculation method on heat radiation equation is provided. The spectrum radiant intensity, radiant luminance, radiant energy, and output signal of detection circuit are studied. Through calculation and analysis, the result shows that the higher the projectile velocity, the higher the surface temperature and the higher the heat radiation energy; when the obliquities angle of flying projectile is larger, the heat radiation energy will reduce; when the detection screen thickness of sky-screen is equal to the projectile's length, the heat radiation energy that the photoelectric detector gains is the highest; and the farther the detection distance, the lower the heat radiation energy.
