Abstract

A generalization to the complex plane of Einstein's addition law of velocities is used to calculate energy levels and wave functions at any place in quantum potentials of arbitrary shape. Some examples are presented (resonant tunnel effect, truncated harmonic oscillators). A comparison with the usual poles method is also discussed.
