Abstract
A method is developed to calculate the weight and number functions of molecular weight distribution for oligomers. The influence of the shape of the chromatographic bands of the individual substances on the molecular weight distribution function is discussed, both as the influence on the instrumental spreading and as the changeof the refraction index with the molecular weight. The weight, numberfunctions, M n and M w were obtained for the condensation oligomers of poly(diethylene glycol adipinates) with molecular weight 400–1200.
