Abstract
Abstract A simple calculation of the Hall coefficient for a polyhedral Fermi surface having both convex and concave angles between its faces gave a result having the opposite sign from conventional low or high-field calculations. This is shown to be due to a breakdown in the low-field condition over parts of the energy surface. The possibility of observing the effect experimentally is considered.
